All
organisations on this list give generously
to a wide variety of charitable organisation,
supporting everything from animal &
children to old age & third world related
causes, and a meticulous effort has gone
into researching who these organisations
are, and who runs them on a day-to-day basis.
Purchasers of this list can select
the organisations by the type of charity
that were supported.
The
companies on this database are of all sizes,
both private and public sector, with often
a stated to policy to support charitable
causes. In many cases the organisations
decided support a single or multiple stated
charities throughout a financial year (i.e.
as part of their stated corporate policy),
in other cases donations are made on an
ad hoc basis.
Data is 100% postcoded; telephone numbers
are available for all records.
Accuracy
All
names were contacted within the last 6 months.
Selections
Data
can be selected by type of charity supported,
and geography.
Recommended Users
Charities; fundraisers; City of London
livery companies; political parties; suppliers
to the charity sector;voluntary organisations.
Data structure
The
following fields are supplied, as standard,
for each record: Name, company name, full
company address including PAF verified postcodes,
(telephone number), (facsimile number),
salutation.
Output formats
Data
is supplied as either an ASCII comma-delimited
text (.txt), Microsoft Excel (.xls), or
Microsoft Access (.mdb) file, on floppy-disk,
CD-Rom or via e-mail. The comma-delimited
text format is the default format for the
despatch of our lists, as it is suitable
for import into any spreadsheet,
database or contact management software,
as well as mail-merge; however, if you would
prefer to receive your list in Microsoft
Excel or Microsoft Access format, you will
be able to note this in the "Comments" box,
when you place your order.
If
you would like to test the different formats,
you can download a sample database in each
of the formats to try out with your software;
the data in these sample files is solely
intended to test technical compatibilty
and does not contain any records from this
particular list.

Delivery
Data is dispatched on floppy disk, CD-ROM or via e-mail; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.
Disks/CD-ROMs as well as labels/hardcopy printouts are sent by first class, recorded mail.
